Villa Mesogea is located in a unique area of Rethymno, close to the picturesque village of Margarites. In the village you can find restaurants, traditional cafes, mini market and shops with ceramic souvenirs, for which Margarites are famous. Villa Mesogea promises a comfortable accommodation with a big sense of Cretan traditional life.

Villa Mesogea consists of two levels and it covers 200 sq. m. The Villa can accommodate up to 11 guests to its four bedrooms, making it an ideal choice, if you are looking for a relaxing vacation with your loved ones. Unfortunately, there is no infrastructure to accommodate the needs of people with limited mobility and wheelchair users, as there is no elevator for the upper floor.

Guests have access to all areas, indoor and outdoor.

The beautiful surroundings are inviting for walks in the countryside and the central location is very convenient for exploring all the interesting places. It is totally worthy to visit the monasteries of Arkadi and Preveli, the Minoan Palace of Knossos, the pottery village of Margarites, Eleftherna's museum and Melidoni Cave.

You should definitely walk in the streets of the old town of Rethymno, which is 300m away, where the old houses with the venetian doors and the minarets will take you on a journey through time. A plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops are waiting for you to explore them. At the edge of the old town you can visit Fortezza Castle, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. A stop to the Archeological museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno will complete your visit.

Chania town is 80km away, where you can enjoy the local market and various stores for shopping. At the venetian port there is a beautiful Egyptian lighthouse, the Maritime Museum of Crete, the Venetian Shipyards, the Küçük Hasan Mosque and the Chania Sailing Club - Neorio Moro. In the old town you can visit the Catholicon of the Venetian Monastery of St. Francis, also there you will find many restaurants, cafes and bars where you can enjoy the local gastronomy.

A car is recommended to make your transfer easier and your trip more fun!
