The house is built on two floors. The ground floor has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area. The highlight is the veranda. You have a panoramic view of the gorge and the sea from both floors.

Plakoti village is just 2 km from the closest village of Adele where you can find mini markets, cafes, and more. This peaceful place is only 4,5 km from the beach and 10 km from the city of Rethymno. Arkadi Monastery, the place where Cretans sacrificed against Turks back in 1866 by blowing the gunpowder keg to avoid captivity, is only 15 km away from the development. Within a 40-50 minutes drive you will also find Drimos Gorge with a unique natural heritage. In the gorge hidden in the rocks is the little church of Agios Antonios (Saint Antonios) which is built literally in them.

Plakoti Apartments is an attractive place to spend your holiday, enjoying in peace and quiet. It is away from the busy tourist areas but still close to the sandy beach and all the necessary amenities. The closest village of Agia Paraskevi is just a short walk away.

You should definitely walk in the streets of the old town of Rethymno, which is 12 km away, where the old houses with the venetian doors and the minarets will take you on a journey through time. A plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops are waiting for you to explore them. At the edge of the old town you can visit Fortezza Castle, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. A stop to the Archeological museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno will complete your visit.

We recommend you to have a rental car for you stay in the apartment.

The bus stop is in Adele village, 1.8 km from the apartment. With the bus, you can go to Rethymno town (about 15 min trip) and to Platanes village (5 min trip) which is a very lively place with lots of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a disco club.
