We will send you a message a few days prior to your arrival date with all the necessary arrival information via Whats App. We will be in contact with you during your arrival and we will be there to welcome you in the house, to give you all the information you need to know about your stay in this house and more.

Once you arrive, you just let yourself in & start to enjoy your holiday.

Plakoti Village is just 2 km from the closest village of Adele where you can find mini-markets, cafes, and more. This peaceful place is only 4,5 km from the beach and 10 km from the city of Rethymno. Arkadi Monastery, the place where Cretans sacrificed against Turks back in 1866 by blowing the gunpowder keg to avoid captivity, is only 15 km away from the complex. Within a 40-50 minutes drive you will also find Drimos Gorge with a unique natural heritage. In the gorge hidden in the rocks is the little church of Agios Antonios (Saint Antonios) which is built literally in them.

Plakoti Village is an attractive place to spend your holiday, enjoying peace and quiet. It is away from the busy tourist areas but still close to the sandy beach and all the necessary amenities. The closest village of Agia Paraskevi is just a short walk away.

You should definitely walk in the streets of the old town of Rethymno, where the old houses with the Venetian doors and the minarets will take you on a journey through time. A plethora of restaurants, cafes, and shops are waiting for you to explore them. At the edge of the old town, you can visit Fortezza Castle, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. A stop to the Archeological Museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno will complete your visit.

We recommend having a rental car for your stay in the apartment.

The bus stop is in Adele village, 1.8 km from the apartment. With the bus, you can go to Rethymno town (about 15 min trip) and to Platanes village (5 min trip) which is a very lively place with lots of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a disco club.
